ManagePro uses an optional “Outline Level” value to create a goal hierarchy, this is the same approach used by Microsoft Project (and data exported from project includes this column).
If data uses a different method for defining a tree structure then we would need to pre-process the data to generate an outline level value (or manually demote goals as required after the fact). Please contact our technical group for more information.
If this mapping is omitted, the goals will be imported as a flat list.
Here's an example of the CSV
To include the goal Hierarchy, map the Outline Level field
Here's the example of the records after import to ManagePro.
If you would like to map the goal hierarchy and goal type so that the records maintain the hierarchy and are imported as a special goal type i.e.,Header, Goal, Action Plan or Task' first add the Type as a column to your .CSV file:
•
|
Add the type to each record

•

Import the .CSV and map the Type
