The comma-separated values (or CSV; also known as a comma-separated list or Comma-Separated Variable) is one of the industry standard file formats used to transfer data. CSV formats can be imported to ManagePro. This is useful when you have large amounts of existing data in other Programs and if the ability to export that data to a  MS Excel (.xls) format then it can be Saved As a .CSV file which is the format required for importing to ManagePro.

By importing data into ManagePro, you minimize the efforts in re-entering the same data. The import feature is also useful when you have periodic updates from other programs that need to be updated to the existing data in ManagePro.

The Import CSV feature is available in the Main Workspace, People and Meetings View as right-click menu options, as well as the Terminology Editor available through ManagePro Preferences and has been extended to Todos in the User Data View.

It's important that you understand how to import prior to importing data to your Production database. If necessary,

you can practice in the sample database provided with your purchase of ManagePro, allow your IT Administrator, ManagePro Administrator and/or contact mis@managepro.com for assistance. This is especially true when considering an export that exceeds 100 line items.
