The Scorecard view is designed to be used with the Balanced scorecard approach to managing goals and tasks. You can set up metrics for a goal and give it a Target number you are trying to achieve with this goal. You can update the current results through regular Progress entries and then set up the scoring field to give you instant feedback on where you stand in relation to hitting your target mark. The score percentage lets you know how close you are to achieving your target and the colored balls are set to indicate different ranges of satisfaction.
