Target

Target is the goal you are attempting to reach. The target drives your Goals and Action Plans. The Results are intended to be the successful achievement of your target. Target is an important field and is part of the formula used to calculate the Score. The Score itself is derived from the following equation: (Results-Baseline)/(Target-Baseline) = Score%

Target field on the Goals Details window and Target Value on the Goal Details > Scoring Tab is one in the same. If you enter the target in the target field on the Goals Details view it will automatically update the target value filed on the Scoring tab and vice versa. The important note here is that Target is part of the scorecard and scores will not be accurate if you do not enter a Target value.
