Record Details allow you to view and manage the details about the record and/or sub-goals/records your create in your database. When a new record is added you can enter the details or edit existing details.

 

You can open the Record Details by double-clicking any record in a view. Note the tabs across the top of the window below (Details, Notes, Documents, Scoring, Progress Updates, Todos and Events), clicking these tabs enable you to view and/or edit related data.

 

The Details Window layout can vary in appearance based your specific configuration. The window below has been configured to show

a General Tab and a Project Management tab. Both tabs include data fields pertinent to the record you have opened.

Title

Goal or sub-goal title description

Requirements

Name the requirements necessary to accomplish the goal

Issues

Name goal related questions, concerns, or problems

Who

Who is responsible for completing the goal

Start Date

The date established to begin the goal

Due Date

The date established to complete the goal

Status

Identifies the status of goals

Risk

Identifies the level of risk for a goal

Priority

Identifies the level of importance established for the goal

Percent Complete

Identifies the progress towards 100% completion

Target

Identifies the goal target value

Results

Identifies the results achieved towards the completion of a goal

Start Manual

Key roll up field, when checked on the Parent Goal, the Start Date for sub-goals will not rollup to the Parent Goal

Due Manual

Key rollup field, when checked on the Parent Goal, the Due Date  for sub-goals will not rollup to the Parent goal

Status Manual

Key rollup field, when check on the Parent Goal, the Status for sub-goals will be ignored

Risk Manual

Key rollup files, when checked on the Parent Goal, the Risk for sub-goals will be ignored

Hours Required

Estimated number of hours required to achieve goal

Weight

Ranking of  importance see also Weight

Measurement Basis

Describes how success will be measured for this goal

Private

Sets the record for non-display to everyone but the people listed in the WHO field of the goal. Note this option is only available to records that the logged in user is assigned to. To remove the Private setting, highlight the record, and deselect  the checkbox

 

 

When editing Long Text fields such as the "Requirements" field or the Description or Comments fields in Progress Updates, Todos or Events, a timestamp can be entered. This is useful when for example using progress updates as an approval or email thread.

 

To insert a timestamp, navigate to the record details, right click in the empty white space (as shown below), select "Insert TimeStamp"

The timestamp is inserted below the text. If necessary, you can copy the inserted time stamp and paste it above the text.
