Record Details allow you to view and manage the details about the record and/or sub-goals/records your create in your database. When a new record is added you can enter the details or edit existing details.
You can open the Record Details by double-clicking any record in a view. Note the tabs across the top of the window below (Details, Notes, Documents, Scoring, Progress Updates, Todos and Events), clicking these tabs enable you to view and/or edit related data.
The Details Window layout can vary in appearance based your specific configuration. The window below has been configured to show
a General Tab and a Project Management tab. Both tabs include data fields pertinent to the record you have opened.

Private

Sets the record for non-display to everyone but the people listed in the WHO field of the goal. Note this option is only available to records that the logged in user is assigned to. To remove the Private setting, highlight the record, and deselect the checkbox

When editing Long Text fields such as the "Requirements" field or the Description or Comments fields in Progress Updates, Todos or Events, a timestamp can be entered. This is useful when for example using progress updates as an approval or email thread.

To insert a timestamp, navigate to the record details, right click in the empty white space (as shown below), select "Insert TimeStamp"

The timestamp is inserted below the text. If necessary, you can copy the inserted time stamp and paste it above the text.
