Getting Started - Administrator Rights

Top Previous Next

The ManagePro Administrator performs specialized functions in ManagePro, that are not available to other Users.  The Administrator is the person designated to perform such functions as ManagePro Database Management, Configuration, Customization and User Management. Generally there should only be one ManagePro Administrator to perform these specialized functions.  Administrator is a Visibility Type, which is assigned in People & Meetings in the right-click menu, under User Access.

Below are topic links to instructions that are designed to get you up and running quickly and are aimed at ManagePro Plus Edition or ManagePro Smart Edition Administrator's who have many users in their organization. The topics are listed in the order by which they should be performed. (Optional) next to the topic below means that the function is not required to use ManagePro, but is considered a prerequisite setup function, if features like Business Groups will be used and if fields and views need to be customized prior to use of ManagePro.

Note: Configuration can occur at anytime, but it's considered best practice to determine how ManagePro will be used and by whom and if views and fields need to be customized to accommodate global and/or business group/departmental needs prior to Users accessing ManagePro.
